Advocating for Inclusion, Understanding, and Access for the Autism Community

ASF is committed to advancing inclusion, education, and opportunity for individuals and families on the spectrum.

About Us

ASF Cares was founded by families who experienced firsthand the challenges of finding the right support after a diagnosis. What began as one family’s journey to understand autism evolved into a shared mission: making trustworthy information and resources accessible to everyone.

We understand that every individual on the spectrum is unique — so we’re building a foundation that meets people where they are. From newly diagnosed children to adults navigating independence, ASF connects the dots across age, need, and experience.

Our mission is to simplify access, empower families with knowledge, and strengthen the autism community through shared learning and support.

Core Values

  • Inclusion: Every voice in the autism community matters.

  • Education: Access to information creates empowerment and understanding.

  • Collaboration: We build bridges between families, professionals, and community partners.

  • Compassion: We lead with empathy and respect in every interaction.

  • Empowerment: We believe knowledge and opportunity transform lives.

What We Do

ASF Cares is building a clear path forward for individuals and families navigating autism. Our foundation serves as both a guide and a bridge—linking people to the support, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Providing Financial Support

Through partnerships with regional centers, local banks, and community donors, ASF offers supplemental financial support for those on the spectrum. This includes conference scholarships, resource subsidies, and assistance for adults seeking greater independence and quality of life.

Connecting Families and Resources

We simplify access by curating an Autism Roadmap—an organized hub of verified information, local programs, and guidance based on age, needs, and level of support. Whether a family is newly navigating a diagnosis or supporting an autistic adult, ASF helps them find what fits.

Building Community Partnerships

Collaboration is at the heart of ASF’s mission. We unite organizations, educators, and advocates who share our belief that access and understanding should be universal. Together, we’re shaping a Southern California where support is easy to find and every person’s potential is recognized.

We develop and share tools that support personal and social growth—from educational materials and video guides to community training on autism awareness and inclusion. Our programs address real-world topics such as communication, relationships, and daily living.
